From June to November, vigilance is the order of the day in the West Indies. To limit the risks, remember to strike your mooring lines on the mother chain, dismantle sails, tacks and tenders, and remove any items exposed to the wind. If you’re not at home, leave your boat in the care of a lifeguard. Prevention means protecting your unit… and those of others.
