This reduces the risk of breakage in heavy swells or strong winds. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p4\">\ud83d\udedf<b> Reduced dunnage<\/b><\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li3\">Remove all wind-exposed items from the deck, including :\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li3\">Sails (furlers, lazy bags, etc.)<\/li>\n<li class=\"li3\">Boom if removable<\/li>\n<li class=\"li3\">Annex, especially if stored in the rear or suspended<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"li3\">The slightest protrusion can considerably increase the wind load, and therefore the risk of damage or mooring failure.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p4\">\ud83d\udee0\ufe0f<b> Dismantling sensitive equipment<\/b><\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li3\">Remember to dismantle the most vulnerable equipment:\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li3\">Covers, shade cloths, biminis<\/li>\n<li class=\"li3\">Wind turbines (removable blades)<\/li>\n<li class=\"li3\">Non-integrated solar panels<\/li>\n<li class=\"li3\">Davit-mounted annexes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"li3\">These elements can not only damage themselves, but also pose a danger to neighboring boats.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p4\">\ud83e\udded<b> If you are absent&#8230;<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">If you&#8217;re going to be away for a long time, or are unable to prepare your boat yourself, we strongly advise you to use our nautical concierge service.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">Regular monitoring or rapid response to cyclone warnings can make all the difference.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">By thinking ahead now, you can contribute to collective safety in mooring areas and marinas <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marinaguadeloupe.com\/\">https:\/\/www.marinaguadeloupe.com\/,<\/a> while effectively protecting your boat.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">The Netboat team remains at your disposal for any questions or assistance in preparing your vessel.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">Happy sailing, and let&#8217;s all be careful during this period.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>From June to November, vigilance is the order of the day in the West Indies.
