This “Luxury Performance” unit has been designed for demanding owners and connoisseurs of sailing. Hull and helm balance for unique sensations, fluid deck layout, modern marine interior with white lacquered bulkheads and molded wood: with the First 53, the new First generation is on the move!
Exterior
A combination of classic and modern lines
A happy marriage of classic and modern lines, marked by a slender, straight bow with plenty of forward volume, and a 5-metre high, swept-back beam, the First 53 immediately displays the strong character of a seaworthy yacht.
The cockpit has been specially designed to ensure that nothing hinders forward movement: manoeuvring near the double helm station with easy access to the side decks, a space entirely dedicated to relaxation close to the companionway. The low-profile deckhouse gives a racy look, the flush deck a modern look. With a powerful but perfectly controllable sail plan for a small crew, a mast and high-end fittings, the First 53 marks a new era.
Interior
A bright and airy set
It’s the great return of molded wood, a noble material with a polished finish, against a backdrop of lacquered partitions and teak flooring for the interior space of the First 53, which is not too extreme in its modernity.
Fargues and handrails, full storage make up the layout with three double cabins and two bathrooms. The major innovation of this interior is the living/relaxation area with a sofa and coffee table, separated from the kitchen area with a dining table. The whole is bright, airy and communicates easily with the outside through an easy and intuitive descent.
